What makes Us UnHappy?

Reason 1- We are always unsatisfied.

Sometimes, We feel unhappy, sad, disturbed even in the middle of the celebration of any occasions like our Birthday, etc. What is the reason that we are always feel unhappy? Reason are many but we will discuss only one in this post and others in next posts. We will discuss the practices to make us and others happy with real happiness.

If we get gold medal in our studies, we feel to get some more. If we get promotion at the work place, we are not satisfied and we want some more. If we date to one partner, after some days we come to know we were wrong and we break-up with the relationship.

It will be better clarified with a small story that i am going to narrate here:

Once a Business school student Raman prayed GOD to get him good marks as his father promised him a gift for getting highest marks in the school. He got good marks and he then prayed GOD to get him a car from his father as the gift. When his father came to know about his marks, he gave him a car.

In his first drive, he saw that GOD was standing on the side of the road. He stopped the car and spoke the words,"Oh Lord! I am very happy today because my father gave me this car just because of you, Thanks for this. Please always with me." He then requested GOD to sit in the car with him.

God sat in the car with him next to the driver seat.

After a few miles, he saw his friend and requested GOD to sit on the back seat as his friend is his very good friend. GOD moved to the back and he made his friend to sit next to him.

He stopped the car again after a few miles as he saw his other friend. He asked his first friend to move to back seat with GOD as the new entry was his best friend.

He again stopped the car after seeing his girlfriend. He looked towards GOD and requested him to wait for him there on the roadside and he would come after giving a drive to his friends. And he moved with his friend leaving GOD there.

After Some years, Raman got remembrance of this incidence and he felt guilty of leaving GOD just because of his useless desires. He felt guilty because he never feels happy at this age of 70yrs, when no-one was with him to help him. No-one was with him to share some happy moments or sad moments. He was alone.

This is the same reason we feel unhappy at the times when we are in the middle of the party but feeling alone. Firstly, we think that having desires is the main reason that we succeed in the life. If we don't have desires, we would not try to meet our aim. But........

But we forget some important things in the race of fulfilling our desires. Main parts of life, main basics of our real happiness. We live in the virtual happiness that is just part-time happiness. We forget to give our few seconds of the day to GOD. We forget to share our virtual happiness with our Mother- Father, family as only after sharing the part time happiness, we can make it life-long happiness. In our bad experences they will help us- GOD, Mother-Father, Family.
